Breaking News – Lexington Woman Barbara Hartwell Dies in Fatal Road Accident

 With heavy hearts, we remember and honor Sabria Hardy, a caring daughter, friend, and Bloomfield family member whose life was sadly cut short after a car accident on Interstate 91 in Enfield on Monday afternoon. She was just thirty-eight.

Officials said state troopers were dispatched to the location on I-91 south between Exits 47E and 46 following word of a major multi-vehicle accident. Around 2:45 p.m., the event drove the highway and the Exit 47 on-ramp to close, which made things very difficult for emergency personnel who were working really hard at the scene.

Sabria was a passenger among the vehicles involved. Troopers said the car she was in, which had stopped in an unknown lane after an earlier accident, was hit from behind by another car. Though regrettably Sabria did not survive, first responders came fast. The driver of her car suffered only little scratches. Two other drivers were caught in the collision but escaped without major damage.

Though there is no other material now available, everyone who knew and loved Sabria Hardy's death has left a big and awful vacuum in their hearts.

Sabria will be remembered by others for more than only her death. She was a woman whose presence mattered, whose strength, compassion, and spirit touched lives. She was special to her family and friends. Her smile, her voice, her laugh, and the love she gave so freely will carry on happy memories.

As her loved ones grieve this surprising and terrible loss during this very difficult time, they plead for prayers, compassion, and understanding. May they find comfort in one another, in shared memories, and in the community's gushing of love.

We honor Sabria Hardy's life today rather than just her passing. Though she died much too soon, those who knew her well will treasure her memories in their hearts.
