According to the Gorham Police Department, emergency crews were called to North Main Street, also known as the Berlin-Gorham Road, at approximately 10:32 p.m. on July 2, 2026, after multiple 911 calls reported a serious motorcycle crash near mile marker 114.4. The location sits along a heavily traveled corridor where visibility, curves, and nighttime conditions can quickly become challenging for even experienced riders.

Preliminary information from investigators indicates that a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, operated by Ryan Collins Tidwell, 29, of Berlin, New Hampshire, was traveling with another motorcycle when the crash occurred. Michaela was riding as a passenger on Tidwell’s motorcycle at the time.
