As As police continue their investigation of a potential murder-suicide, the man and woman shot to death in a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Spring Grove to the Office of the York County Coroner.

About 4:13 p. York County Regional Police were dispatched to Spring Hallow Apartments, found in the first block of East 3rd Avenue, following reports of a shooting involving two dead individuals. m. Saturday, January 31.

One of the victims the coroner's office identified was Tyrelle Dwayne Manley Sr., 33, who resides at the apartment where the shooting occurred. Manley passed away from multiple shots fired at him. His passing is still under investigation.



34 Leticia Velez, named as 32 in her obituary and also of Spring Grove Borough, was the second victim. A different coroner's statement released Wednesday, February 4, indicated she also passed away from numerous gunshot wounds; her cause of death remains under investigation.

Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill arrived at the scene to investigate the deaths and verify them. On Tuesday, February 3, Lehigh Valley Hospital performed autopsies.

Her LinkedIn profile shows Velez had worked full-time since August 2022 as a customer service representative at Waste Connections.

Following Manley's death, relatives shared sentimental tributes on social media describing him as a loving father and uncle who had great significance in their lives. One family member stated that Manley had helped to raise her son after the death of the son's father, Manley's brother. She described him as a great uncle who had been in her son's life since five years old. Even if she saw his mental health issues, she claimed Manley was sweet, kind, and courteous.



Family members also mentioned Manley's brother Tyrone Manley, who was fatally Stabbed outside a Harrisburg Second Street nightclub, family statements and news coverage from that time.

The woman said, expressing concerns for My son, who lacks a father or an uncle. Hoping her son would one day have memories of Manley to share with them, Manley's children Manley also told stories about his late brother.

Another relative pleaded with the public not to speculate on the events leading to the deaths and sought prayers as the family mourns many losses. She stressed Manley's love for his kids and his mother.

  

Leading the inquiry is still the York County Regional Police. Officials have stressed that the event is unique and that there is no public hazard.
